With a mission to make caviar more approachable, Petra Bergstein Higby co-founded The Caviar Co., a San Francisco-based caviar purveyor, with her sister, Saskia. At the moment, China is producing the majority of the world’s caviar but there are a great number of farms in our own backyard in Northern California as well. The Caviar & Champagne Tasting Room in Tiburon is a huge step for the future of The Caviar Co. The Caviar Co is excited to have a platform where they can talk to more people about caviar and educate on something they are so passionate about.
